10 Easy Easter Treats Anyone Can Make!

Easter is coming up and there is nothing I love as much as making fun Easter treats with my kiddos. Here are some of my favorites.

1. Bunny Kabobs

You will need:

  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Grapes
  • Peeps
  • Giant toothpicks

Place everything on the stick in whatever order you want and enjoy!

2. Jellybean sticks

You will need:

  • Jelly Beans
  • Topper (You can download a Spring on here or print out your own.
  • Clear plastic treat bags. These work great and you can get them on amazon here. (This is an affiliate link)
  • Stapler or tape

Fill the treat bags with jelly beans, print and cut out your toppers and staple or tape them to the top

3. Easter Rice Krispie Treats

There are a million ways to make these. I tried using food dye but didn’t use enough so they just had a faint purple tint. If I were to go back and do it again I would use fruity pebbles. Then add sprinkles, or sugar bunny pieces like I did to the top. The sky is the limit on this one!

Use your favorite Rice Krispie recipe! I used this one:

  • 1/2 c butter
  • 8 c mini marshmallows
  • 10 c rice krispies (or fruity pebbles)

Melt butter in a saucepan on low. Add marshmallows stirring for 2-3 minutes. Turn the heat off and add you rice krispie cereal. Place in a well greased pan and cut into squares once the cool off a bit.

4. Easter Macarons

I am not the expert here, but I found a great recipe and tutorial here that was so helpful! She has tons of tips and tricks to make them perfect!

Make your own with Preppy Kitchen’s Recipe here.

5. Easter Cupcakes

Cupcakes are easy and something that everyone can help with! My kids love to decorate their own way, while I do it my way. My new love is Russian icing tips! I am not great at it, but I am having lots of fun experimenting.

Here is a great inexpensive set with everything you need! (Again, affiliate link).

If you do make these dm me a picture on instagram. I love seeing what people come up with!

6. Peeps Garden Cake

You will need:

  • Chocolate cake mix
  • Frosting
  • Shredded coconut
  • Green Food Dye
  • Easter egg candy
  • Peeps

Bake a cake as you usually would in a 9X13 pan and then frost it with your favorite frosting recipe. Put your coconut in a zip block bag with green dye and shake it up. Pour on top of the cake before your frosting dries. Top with easter egg candy and peeps. Easy!

7. Easter egg Cookie Dessert

Use your favorite sugar cookie pizza recipe (I love this one) and when you roll it out roll it into an egg shape and place it on a big cookie sheet.

Add your frosting and decorate in your favorite Easter egg design with whatever fruit you want. I used raspberries, peaches, blueberries, kiwi, strawberries, grapes, and mandarine oranges.

8. Easter Egg Frog-eyed salad

You will need:

  • 2 cups Mini colored marshmallows
  • 8 oz Acini De Pepe
  • 1 c Pineapple juice
  • 1/2 Tb lemon juice
  • 1/2 Sugar
  • 1 Tb Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 small cans Mandarin oranges
  • 1 8 oz Crushed pineapple
  • 2 8 oz cans Fruit Cocktail
  • 1/2 c Shredded Coconut (optional)
  • 1 8 oz container of cool whip

Cook the Acini De Pepe according to the back of the box and cool. Combine pineapple juice, lemon juice, sugar, flour, salt, and egg and stir on stove until thick. Let cool. Combine the two mixtures and when they are completely cook add the fruit and cool whip. Add coconut and marshmallows at the end.

9. Easter Pancakes

Easiest idea yet! Just add food coloring to your pancake or waffle batter and BoOm! You have Easter pancakes!

10. Little Critter Cheese and Crackers

Super easy way to dress up a cheese ball! You can buy one from the store or make your own and then just take walnut slivers and raisins to make it into a porcupine. Add crackers and you have a simple, but fancy looking appetizer

I hope some of these ideas were fun! We do simple, while making treats fun for the holidays!
